3Patti Gold Game follows the classic Teen Patti rules loved by generations of Pakistanis. It is played with a standard 52-card deck (no jokers in classic mode) by 3 to 6 players at a table. Each player is dealt 3 cards face-down. The goal is simple: have the best 3-card hand at showdown, or bluff your opponents into folding before that.
Before cards are dealt, everyone contributes a fixed amount called the boot. This forms the initial pot. Players then take turns to either play blind (without seeing cards), play chaal (after looking), pack (fold), or request a sideshow against the previous player.
Hand Rankings (Highest to Lowest)
- Trail / Trio - Three cards of the same rank (e.g. A-A-A). Highest possible hand.
- Pure Sequence (Straight Flush) - Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g. 9-10-J of hearts).
- Sequence (Straight) - Three consecutive cards of mixed suits.
- Colour (Flush) - Three cards of the same suit, not in sequence.
- Pair - Two cards of the same rank.
- High Card - None of the above. Highest card wins.
Blind vs Chaal Explained
Playing Blind
You bet without looking at your cards. Blind bets cost half of what a seen player has to bet, which makes it a cheap way to stay in the round. Blind is powerful when used against nervous seen players because they will hesitate.
Playing Chaal (Seen)
Once you look at your cards, you must play chaal for the rest of the round. Chaal bets are double what blind players pay. Only look at your cards when you are confident you want to invest more chips.
Sideshow
A sideshow (also called back-show) is when a seen player asks the previous seen player to secretly compare cards. Both players privately reveal their hands to each other and the weaker one must fold. This tool is only available between two seen players and both must agree. Use it to knock out opponents when you are unsure whether to continue investing.
Show / Showdown
When only two players remain, either one can call for a "show". Both hands are revealed and the higher hand wins the pot. If the two remaining players are one blind and one seen, the seen player must pay double the current stake to demand a show. The blind player can request a show for the normal amount.
